Short version: by using velvet-p.com, signing up to our list, or buying something from us, you agree to the points below. They're standard. Nothing tricky.

Who you're agreeing with

Velvet P. is a creative music and visual project operated by M.M. Production, a company based in Italy. Full company registration details (VAT number and registered office) will be added here once the company's registration is finalised. Contact: mail@velvet-p.com. In these terms "we", "our", and "us" refer to M.M. Production, the company behind Velvet P.

What we offer

velvet-p.com is the home of Velvet P., a creative project that releases original music, written work, and curated visual material centred on two fictional artists, Samantha and Lily. Through the site and our email list we share songs, writings, and photographs, and from time to time we sell digital products related to the project (downloads, photo bundles).

Fictional characters and AI-generated imagery

Samantha and Lily are fictional characters created and curated by Velvet P. They are not real people. The narrative voice, biographies, and personalities you encounter in our emails, on velvet-p.com, on social media, and inside the products we sell are part of a creative project, not a representation of any real individual.

The music and the writing released under Velvet P. are original works produced by us. The photographs and visual material associated with Samantha and Lily are created using generative artificial intelligence tools and curated by us frame by frame. We design the look, the mood, the styling, and we direct the imagery as the creative team behind the project.

By using velvet-p.com or buying from us, you acknowledge that the personas of Samantha and Lily are fictional and that the imagery is AI-generated and curated, and you are buying creative work made and selected by Velvet P. on that basis.

Your account and email

• You can sign up to our list with a valid email address. You confirm you're 16 or older (or have permission from a parent or guardian).
• You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the footer of every email.
• Don't sign up other people's email addresses without their consent.

Buying from us

• Prices are shown at checkout in the listed currency. Tax is included where applicable.
• Orders are processed by our checkout provider; we never see or store full payment card details.
• Digital products (downloads, photographs, written material) are delivered by email or via a private link after purchase.
• EU consumers have the legal right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. For digital products, where you've already started the download you waive the right of withdrawal at that point, as permitted by EU law.

Intellectual property

All music, photography, written material, design, and other content on velvet-p.com and in our emails belongs to Velvet P. or the people who created it for us. You can listen, read, look, enjoy; share links to our pages and posts; and quote short passages with attribution.

You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or use our material to train machine-learning systems without written permission.

Acceptable use

Don't use velvet-p.com or our communications to break the law, harass or harm anyone, attempt to access parts of our systems you're not authorised to access, or send us malware, scrape at scale, or otherwise disrupt our service.

Privacy

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using velvet-p.com you also accept that policy.

Disclaimers

We do our best to keep velvet-p.com running and our emails delivered, but we offer the site and our communications "as is", without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free content, or that the site will meet your specific expectations.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to velvet-p.com, our emails, or any product we sell is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when. Material changes will be flagged in the next email we send to active subscribers. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of the Italian jurisdiction where Velvet P. is registered, except where consumer protection law gives you the right to sue elsewhere.
